First time processing B&W film. Photos taken around Ashton Court, processing the negatives and then developing in the dark room.

Response to the brief where we were sent to an area of Bristol, told to sit for 5 hours and record and observe everything.
From the sketchbook of the day’s work, my pen line drawings were the ones that stood out to me so I used these as the main element of my video, including hand rendered type and sounds captured on the day.
Radio Response.
We were given a radio station to listen to for 2 weeks. I was given BBC’s Woman’s Hour.
I really enjoyed listening to the show, and found it really positive and empowering to hear modern day feminism at it’s best. It completely changed my view of feminism/feminists and my response to this was to cross stitch this, very true, statement.
Professional Practice module, branding brief to create a brand to position us as Graphic Designers in the ‘real world’.
I chose a really simple, clear font as my logo/logotype and all using recycled paper.

We were given the name of a poet and artist to use, we got given Philip Larkin and chose his poem ‘The Trees’ with influence from Rene Magritte.
We made this 90 second animation of zoetropes to tell the story of the circle of life.
